Drunk fellow musician misses his stop

AFter a night of subway performing, I was purchasing my ticket home when I noticed this gentleman also purchasing a ticket for the same train. He had a guitar, so we made casual guitarist converastion on t
he way to the train. BUt he was EXCEPTIONALLY sarcastic, loopy, and goofy. I later learned he was VERY drunk.

On the train ride home, I humored him as much as I could, and tried to get everyone around us involved in humoring his drunken cheer, not making fun of him, but having fun WITH him.

He revealed to me that we met before, and he already knew my stage name. In fact, he got in an argument with his wife for because he was up past 6am watching my videos. He also argues with his wife on many other topics, including his alcoholism. He was determined to finish the bottle before he got home (terrible!).

But all the fun and discussion proved to be a distraction for him. He missed his stop, so he prepared to get off at the next stop and walk home. On the way out of the train, he dropped his guitar out of his case by accident, and wound up missing that stop too. Everyone felt really bad for him. By the time he got off he was so far away from home he had no other hope but to wait all night outside for the next train.

So sad!

I'm considering posting regular blogs again with brand new subway adventures. Anyone home at all?
